Abstract

Positive-internal sex motives involve engaging in sexual activity for personal enjoyment or self-affirmation (Cooper et al., 1998). Some sexual motivations stem from self-interests or personal needs and some from social pressures (Cooper et al., 1998). We found that having sex to cope or for self-affirmation were associated with sexual aggression.
