Abstract
We tested for measurement invariance of rumination using the Children’s Response Styles Questionnaire (CRSQ) across age and sex. Findings support configural, metric, and scalar invariance across time and sex. Differences in rumination, assessed by the CRSQ, appear to reflect true changes, which are not due to differences in measurement properties.
