Abstract

Exploratory analyses were conducted as part of a study examining physiological linkage and communication of emotion via touch. Dyads with members reporting the same race or ethnicity demonstrated increased accuracy in detecting intensity of emotions, while dyads reporting different races or ethnicities showed some higher indices of physiological linkage.
