Abstract

A research study documenting significant declines in undergraduate academic self-efficacy (ASE) during COVID-19 resulted in a shift in teaching philosophy to better support student needs. Based on mixed-methods data, presenters share risk factors for greater drops in ASE and subsequent reshaping of their pedagogical approach.
