Abstract

this study will use a 2 (neuroscientific evidence: presence vs. absence) x 2 (defendant gender: male vs. female) x 2 (crime severity: aiding and abetting homicide vs. involuntary manslaughter) design to examine the conditions under which the presence of neuroscientific evidence will affect jurors’ perceptions and decision-making processes.
