A Multimethod Investigation of the Relation between Minority Stress and Suicide Risk Among Sexual Minority Youth

The current multimethod study will test whether: 1) decrements in problem-solving abilities may mediate the association between acute social rejection and suicide risk; and 2) minority stress augments the detrimental effects of acute social rejection on problem-solving abilities, increasing suicide risk among sexual minority youth relative to heterosexual peers.
