Abstract
A key site in the control of neuronal activity patterns is the axon initial segment (AIS). Our mouse model of developmental seizures shows restructuring of the axon initial segment (AIS) of neurons. Our study suggests that this mutation results in shorter and highly disorganized AIS segments compared to wildtype controls.
