Abstract

We examined the role of emotional stability in moderating the relationship between childhood physical abuse, physical neglect, and adult psychopathy. In a sample of 398 participants, results indicated that emotional stability moderated the relationship between childhood physical abuse and adult psychopathy by exhibiting a protective effect.
