Abstract
Children/adolescents in residential treatment were assessed for ACEs, PTSD, and aggression. Path analyses revealed significant indirect effects from child maltreatment to reactive aggression through the intrusion PTSS cluster . Findings suggest that children with a history of maltreatment may engage in more impulsive and externalizing behaviors secondary to experiencing PTSS.
