Academic Expectations and Institutional Perceptions at the Associate Degree Level

Students enrolled in two-year associate degree programs responded to open-ended self-report questions regarding motivation and intentions to attend community college and perceptions of their academic experience. Financial considerations were a prominent feature of intentions stated by students. No student responses related to any aspect of vocational training or skill development.
