All three papers of this panel applied person-centered approach to understand how the dynamics within the microsystem and mesosystem—adolescents’ relationships with teachers, parental involvement and support, and school climate—relates to adolescents’ motivational beliefs in math and science, the resilience to academic challenges, and college aspiration and attendance.
