Abstract
This study examined a community-based informational interview assignment designed to promote students’ professional development. The assignment was implemented in six classes across four semesters. Results from quantitative and qualitative methodology provide preliminary support for the assignment. Implications for psychology instructors and departments, and suggestions for future research will be presented.
