Psychology Peer Mentors: Senior Students Mentor Introductory Students Conducting Research

Abstract

Senior psychology students served as peer mentors to introductory psychology students over the semester. Peer mentors met with small groups of students to design, conduct, and write research studies. Results indicated that both the peer mentors and the introductory psychology students reported academic and social benefits from this experience.
