Abstract

Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) is a teaching method where peer leaders lead small group workshops to reinforce course content. Benefits to peer leaders were demonstrated by increased knowledge of content, increased self-confidence, self-report of increased motivation, and improvement in problem solving abilities using techniques taught by peer leaders in workshops.
