Fitbit Communities and Motivation: Working out with Our Phones

Fitbit Community groups were analyzed based on Fitbit’s stated objectives versus the actual content matter. Some of the groups matched their respective definitions, while others strayed away from the intended purposes. Results include: a known reliance of using the phone while exercising and that each group promoted encouragement.
