Being Not from Here Elicits Different Moral Standards

Abstract
American participants played a 2-player allocation task. The task allows gaining a personal advantage by simply not telling the true outcome of a roll of die. Participants played against three opponents profiles: ingroup, and outgroup nationals, and immigrants. We find that people are less honest against immigrants than outgroup nationals.
