Applying Psychological Science to a STEM Program Increases Retention, Attitudes, and Participation

This poster will present an NSF funded program that addresses low retention in STEM programs at a small liberal arts college. Also included will be the psychological science that supports the program elements, assessment methodology, and concrete ways that psychologists can support STEM programs in developing and implementing such programs.
