Picture This: A Snapshot on Social Media Use and Body Image in College Students

Undergraduate college students completed an online survey examining the association between social media use and body image (N=373). Significant correlations were found between body image and social media behaviors (e.g., photo manipulation). An elevated body dissatisfaction score was associated with time spent on social media (not statistically significant).
