Abstract
A 24-item Likert-scale measure of Model Teacher Criteria (MTC-24) was developed and validated with novice college instructors (N=122). The MTC-24 contained item clusters pertaining to Content, Training, Student Evaluation, Conscientiousness, Feedback, and Learning Objectives, which overlap partially with competencies of the MTC checklist from which it was adapted.
