Screencasting Psycinfo Searches: A Technique for Promoting Active Learning and Measuring Information Literacy

The ability to effectively and efficiently search for information is foundational to information literacy in psychology. The authors describe an assignment in which students digitally record their searches of PsycInfo. The assignment is an effective way to assess information literacy. We provide a grading rubric and recommendations for future use.
