An Examination of College Students’ Smartphone Use and Relations between Use and Positive and Negative Feelings in Varied Settings

Abstract
Little work has considered the role of setting on smartphone use. This project compared changes in college students’ smartphone use over one week in a camp setting and a traditional, campus setting. Daily use decreased in camp participants, and setting moderated the association between relative latency to use and feelings.
