Abstract
We examined instructors (N=149) perceptions of students’ in-class use of personal mobile devices (e.g., mobile phones, laptops, tablets). Preliminary findings suggest instructors who are more sensitive to traditional forms of incivility may be more sensitive to those involving mobile devices. Implications for classroom policy will be discussed.
