Abstract

Relationships between technology use, personality and well-being were investigated empirically. Individuals who sent more text messages had less daily positive affect; however, those who used their phone for other reasons, such as browsing the Internet, had more daily positive affect. Neuroticism was positively associated with daily social media usage.
