Abstract

The mechanisms that link peer binge drinking to personal binge drinking remain relatively unknown. Using primary data, we examine specific environmental and psychological factors as possible moderators of this relationship. Results which reveal living alone, living with distant relatives, and one’s perception of binge drinking as significant moderators, are discussed.
