Does Work Avoidance Goal Predict Well-Being in Academic Settings?

Abstract

Work avoidance goal predicted academic performances negatively (e.g., King & McInerney, 2014). However. King et al. (2014) failed to find relation work avoidance goal with well-being. In this study, 132 college students completed questionnaires. Work avoidance goal predicted subjective happiness (b= .15).
