Abstract

Two important predictors of offending are perceptions of the police and parental relationships. This study investigates these two domains and if they interact to predict recidivism. Although parental hostility and warmth predict recidivism, police perceptions do not. Further, police perception does not interact with warmth or hostility to predict recidivism.
