Abstract

Adolescents across the world demonstrate increased risk taking, though rates vary across countries. We predicted that sensation seeking would explain lower levels of antisocial risk taking (ASR) in China, compared to the U.S. Results show the U.S. has higher ASR rates, which is mediated by sensation seeking.
