Abstract

This pilot study examined effects of a game-based training of executive functions in a small sample of at-risk adolescents in a transitional school. There were no gains in task-switching or inhibition, or evidence of transfer to fluid intelligence. Findings highlight unique challenges associated with game-based EF trainings in transitional schools.
