Abstract

We tested whether both self-report and objective measures of analytical thinking and intuitive thinking styles correlated with psychological misconception endorsement in (N=304) college students. We found that endorsement of psychological misconceptions significantly correlated with both self-report and objective measures of intuitive and analytic thinking, consistent with a dual-process theory account.
