The Go/No-Go Training Decreases Evaluations of and Choices for Smartphone Apps

With many smartphone users complaining about not being able to reduce their phone use, we tested whether a go/no-go training can be an effective tool to achieve such goals. In two preregistered experiments, we demonstrate that the training reduces smartphone app evaluations and influences choices for smartphone apps.
