Collaborative Writing: Teaching Students to Think and Communicate like Scholars

Abstract
First-year college students evaluated a Psychology & Law course centered on a collaborative writing project - a literature review designed to mirror the co-authoring and review processes used by scientists. Students reported that the course taught them to think and communicate like scholars, synthesizing ideas by drawing from multiple perspectives.
