Cell Phone Presence on Memory Recall

We examined cell phone’s presence on memory recall among undergraduates. We tested 119 on a memory test and completed mood, smartphone addiction scale. Results showed that those without phone had higher accuracy compared to those with phone. Participants’ memory was also poorer if they thought about their phone more often.
