Abstract

The current study examined the roles of discrete negative emotions—fear and sadness— on the alcohol-approach bias. Participants watched films to induce emotions and completed the alcohol- approach avoidance task. Results revealed a statistically significant main effect of emotion on the alcohol-approach bias.
