Colombian Adolescents’ Personal Identity Cohesion Mediates Associations between National Identity Resolution and Academic Adjustment

This study extended research on national identity to Colombian adolescents, focusing on how processes of identity development related to adolescent adjustment. In a mediation model, national identity resolution was associated with greater personal identity cohesion, which in turn was associated with greater academic engagement and sense of school belonging.
