Abstract
K-12 public school districts often rely on unstructured interviews for selecting teachers. This study identified competencies high school algebra educators in K-12 public school districts must perform as effective teachers. Three critical competencies (integrating technology effectively, engaging all stakeholders, self-reflection/self-monitoring) were identified for a unique, competency-based selection system.
Education
