Examination of the Possible Role of the Introversion-Extraversion Personality Trait in Motivation to Learn

Abstract
This pilot project explores the links between a personality trait and perceptions that play a prominent role in motivation to learn. Data collected from 30 students were submitted to linear regression analysis. Results suggest that a preference for extraversion may coincide with better perceptions about competence and value of learnings.
