Statistics Students As Consultants to Peers: An Active, Authentic Learning Experience

Abstract

As an active, authentic learning experience, students in Psychological Statistics served as statistical consultants to seniors who were conducting original studies. The Statistics students analyzed the seniors’ data and wrote an APA-style Results section. To their mutual benefit, the consultant/senior pairs co-authored posters for presentation at a departmental poster session.
