- Nancy Piotrowski

Abstract
Use of stigmatizing language in addictions training, treatment, and research affects engagement of students, clients needing services, and researchers and prospective research participants. Data support the utility of a self-reflection exercise to effect recognition of the impact of stigmatizing language and prime learners for change in varied learning settings.
