Reflecting on Case Studies: Do They Promote Reflective Thinking?

Abstract

This project evaluated reflective thinking among psychology students completing case study assignments. Implementing this approach may improve learning and reflection associated with case study assignments. Measures of higher-level reflection and integration of learning did not benefit from the use of case studies in this sample.
