Attitudes Towards Peer Assessment: Measuring and Changing Student Beliefs

Abstract
Despite evidence supporting the validity and educational value of peer assessment, many instructors are reluctant to use it because of potential negative responses from students. The present study demonstrates that students’ negative attitudes towards peer assessment are not large, and can be removed with a 2-hour online training workshop.
