Abstract

As an applied science, an active and experiential approach to teaching positive psychology is powerful. Undergraduates wrote critical reflections about practicing empirically-supported positive psychology exercises, which improved their learning and higher-level thinking. Moreover, students reported positive life changes. Examples of facilitating active and experiential learning in positive psychology are provided.
