Mindfulness and Engagement in College Classes

Abstract

Mindfulness has benefits for emotion, self-regulation, coping, and health. This research implemented brief, frequent mindfulness in undergraduate psychology classes. Students enjoyed the experience and reported that it increased their engagement, decreased their anxiety, and had a positive influence on their life outside of class.
