Abstract

An online (PERTS) growth mindset workshop administered to first-year college students with a battery of measures also implicated in academic success (e.g., grit, self-control, mindfulness, autonomous functioning) revealed positive associations of implicit theories and autonomous functioning with academic success but also complex relationships with related cognitive and motivational variables.
