Abstract

This project examines the effects how mental health is framed on intro psyc students’ level of stigma toward mental illness. Heider's Attribution Theory suggests that varying explanations for symptoms along the internal/stable-external/situational axis will affect intro psyc students’ mental health. This study manipulates the sequence and salience of those attributions.
