Civic Identity Development As a Framework for Promoting Engagement in an Undergraduate Research Methods Course

Abstract

Here we report results on the effects of incorporating civic identity development into a methods and statistics course to engage reluctant students. In addition to preliminary qualitative and quantitative data, we also share our developmental model, assignments, and plans for further integration of civic identity into the undergraduate psychology curriculum.
