Delaware Project Awards University of Arizona Student for Pilot Intervention to Help Teen Boys
A program aimed at redefining clinical psychological science training has recognized Jennifer Duchschere, a graduate student at the University of Arizona, for a novel intervention she created and piloted for adolescent males in juvenile detention. Duchschere is the recipient of the Delaware Project Student Award in recognition of her BREAK intervention program’s role in bringing laboratory research into community settings for juvenile justice populations.

Applications Open for Estes Fund Summer School for Behavioral Modeling
The Barcelona Summer School for Advanced Modeling of Behavior (BAMB), with the support of the William K. & Katherine W. Estes Fund, will offer 30 psychological scientists at the PhD and early career levels the opportunity to learn the conceptual and technical skills necessary to carry out model-based behavioral analysis. The summer school, organized by Alex Hyafil (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona), Christopher Summerfield (Oxford University), and Klaus Wimmer (Centre de Recerca Matemàtica) will be held September 4 – 10, 2019 at the Institut d’Estudis Catalans in Barcelona.

Advanced Modeling of Behavior Summer School Apps Open
The Barcelona Summer School for Advanced Modeling of Behavior (BAMB) is accepting applications for a 30 student course on model based analysis of behavior for cognitive and computational neuroscientists at the PhD and early career levels. The course will run September 4 – 10 at the Institut d’Estudis Catalans in Barcelona, Spain. The application deadline is June 3, 2019.
