The APS Fund for Teaching and Public Understanding of Psychological Science, established with the support of The David and Carol Myers Foundation, provides grants to support the teaching and public understanding of psychological science. Researchers worldwide are encouraged to apply.
APS invites proposals for nonrenewable grants of up to $5,000 to launch new projects broadly addressing the one of the following categories:
- Scholarship of Teaching and Learning: High-quality, potentially publishable scholarship directed at the teaching and learning of psychological science
- Meetings and Conferences: Initiatives that facilitate communication and collaboration among teachers of psychological science facing common challenges and would benefit from sharing ideas and resources
- Technology: Projects that use technology to enhance teaching, learning, and the dissemination of psychological science and related resources.
- Global Psychological Science: Projects that promote cross-cultural or international collaboration and understanding in the teaching and learning of psychological science.
- Other: Innovative projects to enhance the teaching and learning of psychological science.
Application deadlines are March 1 and October 1.
