Don’t Be Fooled by Predatory Conferences

Predatory conferences are meetings set up to appear like legitimate scientific conferences but which are exploitative as they do not provide proper editorial control over presentations and advertising, and may include claims of involvement by prominent academics who are not actually involved. These conferences often deliberately mimic well-established conferences to gain submissions. (Wikipedia)

The International Convention of Psychological Science (ICPS) is organized by the Association for Psychological Science (APS). Please note the official ICPS website: www.ICPS2019.org (also https://www.psychologicalscience.org/conventions/icps2019). Make sure that you only enter your ICPS submission and/or registration information on this website.

If you are contacted by someone representing a predatory conference, please contact APS at [email protected] and include any relevant information that you have, such as company name or contact information.
