Using Scaffolding to Teach Critical Thinking
- Jutta Street

Abstract
Traditional lectures about the adolescent brain resulted in low critical thinking scores when undergraduates were asked to evaluate the validity of arguments related to the material. This study explores whether three different levels of scaffolding (low, moderate, strong) presented to three groups of undergraduates are associated with different CT scores.
