Abstract

Children in Argentina completed an advanced theory-of-mind battery, and confirmatory factor analysis replicated the three-component structure previously identified in German and Japanese samples. Argentine children showed strong age-related gains across Grades 2 to 5. Matched comparisons with earlier German data revealed later social reasoning in Argentina but shared conceptual organization.
